When I say Parmigiani, what is the first thing that comes to your mind!…. Cheese right!!! 🙂 I know, we all have these first misleading impressions, even the brand knows that. But what you don’t know is Parmigiani Fleurier Manufacture is a company with many hidden talents and expertise the entire watchmaking industry is benefiting from – just under the radar!
Finally back home to my lovely Dubai after a long break in Switzerland. I have got a lot of stories to share with you among the ones I wrote while I am there, so let’s do it! Of course, the first highlight of my trip was being invited to attend the glamorous SIHH 2016 fair in Geneva organised by the Richemont Group; so let me share with you my experience during those 5 days.
Tuesday Afternoon – although a very packed day during SIHH presentations, I had the chance to sit down with Mr Jens Koch, MD of MontBlanc International to talk a little bit about the brand strategy for the upcoming years and his views of the strength of MontBlanc in the current market.
Today my dear friends I share with you an exciting experience I have been fortunate enough to have thanks to the very kind invitation by Parmigiani Fleurier to their yearly sponsored Hot Air Balloon rides in Chatean D’Oex.
After SIHH 2016 has been wrapped up with an overwhelming new releases from all of the Richemont Group; I had the chance to be invited to the manufacture of one of the oldest and most prestigious watchmakers in the World, with over 260 uninterrupted years of operations; of course I am talking about Vacheron Constantin.
Good freezing day my lovely friends!!!! it’s -2 Degrees here in Geneva and I am literally shivering and writing to you… Yes that’s how much I am committed to stay connected with you 🙂
Now, let’s get down to business!!! So I landed in Geneva yesterday to find myself in a beautiful snow covered city with zero activity – Well it was Sunday and unlike Dubai, Geneva is practically dead on Sunday!!!! So I slept early looking forward for my first day in SIHH 2016.
